A couple of different size screwdrivers and a 10 mm socket or spanner is about all you need but there's lots of fixings so I hope you have a good memory for when it goes back Ray

I've just stripped mine for the same reason. It's all back together now but like mk1collector said you need a good memory. I took a few snaps to help as almost every screw seemed a different length! I tried to replace as many of the bolts/screws with stainless ones.

Memory can fail, so take lots of pictures. Fairly easy job, though putting the heating duct tubes and cables back can be a bit of a bug*er. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Normal tools is all it takes But indeed, think twice how it all fitted together before you take the dash out. Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
