Brake light fuse blowing TD5
First of all thanks to LandroverAnorak for the explanation on wiring the 13 pin wiring loom.
This was my original task ,but when connected to the Caravan I noticed no brake lights or reversing light.
I disconnected the wiring loom from under the rear wheel arch.
Still blowing fuse. Confused
I then re connected the 13pin wiring loom.
Still blowing fuse. Rolling Eyes
I then unplugged the brake light switch found on top and to the rear of the servo .
Still blowing fuse. Neutral
I then connected the two green wires from the brake light switch ,effectively by passing the switch.
Still blowing fuse. Confused
I'm starting to run out of 15amp fuses now! Big Cry
I checked all the brake light bulbs by visual inspection, the high level brake light bulb had blown.
Replaced the high level brake light bulb. Thumbs Up
Brake lights and reversing lamps all working .
