Raptor Binnacle mounting
Hi there
this is my first post. I like to do some works on my Defender myself, but I am maybe a little to akward. Before starting I like to inform myself. I couldn't find any information in the german speaking Forums and on this forum on how to mount the raptor engineering binnacle mount to my td5 2002.

Does anybody have some pictures of the process?

Regards and thanks, Andi

It really is fairly simple. I have helped others install the Raptor on their LR. I chose to istall the mud console. Lots of cutting of a the dash and fiddling about but very simple really. The raptor has less cutting and fiddlng in my experience. Should have instructions on their web site?

Oops! You asked about the dash binnacle not the console, same applies actually, it is very simple. Four screws to remove the gauge cluster and unplug everything (two screws under the dash then one on each side). No need to label the plugs/wires as they all can only plug in one way. Disassembly installation and reassembly is straight forward nce you have it out.

Thank you for your answer. The binnacle itself is easy to unmount. I was just not sure about the mount behind the binnacle. As i found till now, the mount can be fixed when the heater and vent regulator unit is taken of as well. I d'dn't find any info on raptors website.
I 'll just give it a try.

Cheers!
