steering adjusted but.....

Hi there after a bit of greenlaning had a bit of play in the steering......nothing major but it wasn't accurate...advise was to tighten the steering by a small adjustment on the steering box.....loosen the 19 nut etc etc...did that steering is certainly tighter BUT the bloody play is still there....any ideas???? I had just changed the steering rods for HD ones but the steering was perfect after that.
Also the indicators have started working when they feel like it.....indicate and they or may not work...though it was the indicator stalk so ordered a new one but its the same with new switch

Check your steering ujoint on the column, just the engine side of the bulkhead. Have someone wiggle the steering wheel while you check it out for play. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)
