Strange Dash Warning Lamp
Now, I know my 90 is a bit old and it's had a few changes in its life so far.
However, can someone please explain why the following symbol is present on my Dash Warning Panel?
I'd love to know the history.

There is no illumination lamp behind it and is not in use!

(Please excuse the sketch in MS Paint - I couldn't find any suitable image on Google so I had to sketch it myself.

Its a truck warning light saying the tilting cab isn't locked down properly.Probably generic warning lamps fitted to allsorts of commercials....unless your Defender has a tilting cab, lol.

I always thought that it was a throwback to the Lama, I had that symbol on an old 110 I had and was led to believe that when LR were developing the forward control replacement they had a batch of these panel lights made up for them. In true LR fashion unused ones went into the parts bins on the line and were used, much like the panels with the 24V symbol in the bottom left hand corner

Mine has that!

I wandered what it was for as if it was a 24v vehicle surely you don't need to be told that as your driving along so just assumed it was an army thing to warn it was low on volts.

What is it meant to be for? Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197

Mine's got the 24V in the bottom right corner. All very strange but sounds like something Land Rover would do!

cheers
