Aye thanks all,

Brendan, you have what i want....Wink

RRUK, I know what you mean yes, I have that terrible character flaw where rather than looking at what i paid as being
fair for what was good enough as what i paid as potential down payment on what i really 'want' Smile

That's why it always takes me forever to pull the trigger. 3 Landrovers

I have to say that now I've cleaned my headlights, Crystals and Nightbreakers are as good a headlights as I've had on anything.

I had the jw evo 1 head lights from the get go. They filled with water and were replaced with evo 2 lights. I put my standard lights back in with slightly updated lamps whilst ibgot them swapped and haven't changed back to the LEDs yet. There still in the box, never see opened! The issue was that the evo 1 lights were great on dipped beam but very poor on hi beam. They also filled with water. The evo 2 puts all the LEDs on in hi beam and it is vastly improved but I must say the standard headlights are good enough for my beedy eyes.

I have to say, coming from a car with xeonon lights . DRL's etc I don't actually find the std lights that bad at all.

I very rarely use main beam, especially in the lanes, I drive at a speed I can see with normal beams.

Mine will be changed but more for looks when I go Led side lights etc....

Over Christmas I have some Philips mega vision bulbs to fit purely as I had them left after swapped my wife's car. will see what they are like.

Back to the original look... Whistle
Monday my factory SVX Wipac Cristals with upgraded H4 bulbs from Land Rover will go back on..... Curious to see what that will give together with the already installed Landreiziger loom. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
