Jim - that's a proper motor!

Not sure it really passes the pedestrian impact test though: if they're not taken out by the front towing pintles or the winch or the A-bar, the bonnet ironmongery will get them for sure Thumbs Up

If they stay out of my way, i'll stay out of theirs Laughing Laughing

What snow cover have you got on the heater intake?

Standard military issue one. Although Ian (IRB/Porny) does a nice aluminium folded one, it's on his site somewhere.
I've got mine not really for snow (hardly ever get any here) but to keep water out of the heater... go through something deep or a bit "quick" (a la camel style) and it stops the heater getting a mouth full of water then steaming your screen up for the rest of the day. although they do restrict air flow quite a bit.... position 1 on the blower motor hardly gives an asthmatic wheeze of air out of the vents.

285/75 16 on CW alloys - not sure of offset. Devon 4x4 stock the rims. Fills the arches nicely, 2" lift recommended. £150 per corner if my memory serves me correctly. Any wider and they'd stick out too far from the eye brows - MOT failure

Haven't access to any piccies at the moment - on a different machine. You'll have to get your microscope out to look at my 'avatar'
