2015 90 Front Window Seal whistle
Anyone know how easy it is to remove and replace the front door window seals?

Seems my passenger side is not sealing perfectly and it whistles at any speed over 50 mph

If you apply some pressure to the bottom front corner of the glass (wing mirror area) it seems to fix the issue and in that spot it looks like the seal isn't fitted very well.

Been back to the dealer to fix it and they had it for a week, claimed it was fixed but from what I can see they have done nothing!

Thanks in advance for any advice!! -2015 Defender 90 XS Landmark-

Thanks, the dealer was talking about that and replaced the door seal as well but it hasn't worked, its very definitely the window seal between the glass and the door.

Not sure if I can face taking it back to them as they are hopeless and especially if its and easy job I could do! -2015 Defender 90 XS Landmark-

I had the exact same issue on my Keswick Special right from the get go... Big Cry

To be fair to Urban Truck, when I took it back a couple of days later, they investigated thoroughly, even sending two engineers out with me to track and trace the problem... Bow down

Ultimately, it is a warranty issue and would have had to go back to the squealer for a resolve... Rolling Eyes

I really did not fancy going that route and UT suggested an alternative fix... Whistle

They fitted the Climair Wind Deflectors and boom, whistle gone, job done and no need to visit the squealer for potentially weeks of aggravation on a minor issue... Thumbs Up

Not only that, but the wind deflectors provide additional functionality and the Climair version really look good too... Mr. Green

Thank you very much that is a cracking idea!!!! Bow down

I'm going to have a play around with it tonight after work and see if I can straighten the seal a bit, if it doesn't work I think I will try the wind deflectors!

P.s love the colour! Always been a fan of Keswick Green. As my 90 was in stock at the dealer and an impulse buy I didn't get to choose much!! -2015 Defender 90 XS Landmark-
