2007 GEARBOX ISSUES

Hi
Has anyone had any problems with their gearbox on the new 2007 model?

Mine stuck in reverse after 5 weeks (pin stuck in selector) although the gear stick felt as though it was in neutral!! This happened again when the car was 8 weeks old.

Land rover replaced the gearbox! I have no explanation for why it needed a gearbox so quickly.

It drives much better now, so there was obviously an issue.

Yep, also heard of a couple,,

One at a LRE is/was stuck in rev , end last week, and another will not start unless the clutch is depressed, in at the moment having a clutch/gearbox !!

Mines OK (touch wood Bow down ) so far !

Got a 57 plate 90 in at the moment with no drive, box will be out monday, suspect the clutch, possibly gearbox. only done 1500 miles.... Big Cry

Had my 110xs tdci just over a month/2200 miles now - generally so far so good, but there's always been a slight whistle from 4th gear - anyone else had that?

Hi Ray, your right now on gearbox number 4, clutch 4 and transfer box 2. Got back from Morocco ok though after 5.5k miles of fun. Minor issues to go in for but nothing to put me off. Thumbs Up
