Which winch??
Hi chaps, time has come to equip my 300tdi 90 with a front winch (for self recovery/green laning etc. nothing too extreme)-anyone got any experience regarding the two winches below, which I've kind of narrowed my choice down to - reliability, efficiency etc .Or any other suggestions (£4/500 mark). And yes, I want steel rope, personal choice.

1. Goodwinch tds goldfish 9.5 -http://www.goodwinch.com/shop/tds-winches/goodwinch-tds-9-5-9500-lbs-12v-or-24v

2. Warrior samaurai -http://www.electricwinchshop.co.uk/winches/warrior/warrior-samurai/champion-c9500-samurai-12v-steel.html

Any advice appreciated, Thanks, Andrew.[/url] 1959 Series 2 Ragtop

I bought a goodwinch. No regrets and gets plenty of usage. I'd say they are all pretty much identical at that price point.

Never used either, but not heard anything bad about the Goldfish range 👍

Not heard anything good or bad about the warrior ones

We use twin motor 8274 warns, but not for green laning Laughing

unless i was looking to compete in which case i would get an 8274 and upgrade it, then i would spend the £££ on Goodwinch even if i had ££££ that the warn would cost. Cheers
