I have just ordered M&M seat covers. They have a bonus deal of free spare wheel cover that comes with the seat covers. Looks very classic.

Jay

I agree but the seat covers make sense to me - colour sand. The almond upholstery is going to get dirty pretty quickly otherwise and the covers are removable to keep the vehicle factory standard.

Hi Tony,

Did you order your seat covers directly from M&M in South Africa? I've contacted them for a shipping price to Oz but am still waiting to hear back from them. Can you tell me how much the shipping costs were?

Thanks

Mark

Their communication is not terrific and I telephoned several times (+27 41 4846631 - speak with Nicole). Shipping costs are high. Their quote for door to door was ZAR 3,350, or to your airport ZAR 2,150. I am going with InterParcel.com.au so that I can local tracing and insurance, at cost of $273.30. If you want more info, call me on 0437675200.

Thanks Jay

Your probably right mate, but have been thinking about use with the dog etc.

Are you going for a remap Jay?

The seat covers are a must.

suppose we need to see them first, before any big plans.

Hey Rog. I'm only driving it in winter so don't need the AC and my Bose Soundlink for my stereo Rolling with laughter

Chequer plate can't be undone. I wouldn't. a remap can be undone and if it's a keeper will increase your enjoyment of the car. www.td5.org

Steve, please no chequer plate, this is a classic in the making. Good move on the M&M seat covers, they will look smart, photos when they are on would be great. I agree with the remap, having mine done.

For me. Tow bar, traditional step on side step, sound deadening, underbody protection (not decided which type as yet) and of course a stereo. ( but we rip out the ones JLR install anyway, next to useless) my only other thoughts are the standard MTR tyres. May suit the car visually, however I would prefer a AT

Getting close now.

Thumbs Up
