TD5 error codes?
I just bought a X431 iOS to check code of my TD5, play around a little bit, it shows up some thing like in the pic!
Is it serious problems? Big Cry

Interested in the x431 if it works with a TD5 engine/ecu. Do you have link to it? 1999 Defender TD5 110

The first 3 faults is a unexpected low and high value. That is normally not a problem. I have them regularly with my Disco 3.

A td5 doesn't have a Canbus so that should not give a fault except if the system is looking for a Canbus.

Shuttle valve? I am not sure what that is on a Defender.

Can you get the real faultcode number with your system? as you can google that number and get a better explanation maybe.

Are you sure the X431 is TD5 compatible as a TD5 is not OBD II. Roel

The only shuttle valve that I'm aware of on the Td5 is in the ABS/Traction Control modulator block, there's two switches in the bottom part of the block which power the valves.
Allthough many modern OBD2 readers can get "into" the Td5 system they may not necessarily communicate properly.

Thanks everyone's input, x431 is compatible with TD5 , the shutter valve was a code from ABS!
