Will a 2015 steering wheel fit my 2001 TD5?

Evening everyone,
I've got a bit of project on with my Defender, so I'm sure I'll be on here a lot in the next few weeks.
My first question is to do with the steering wheel. Mine has a horrible and worn out after market thing on at the moment. I would to replace it with something more original. I've seen one on eBay that I like. It's off a 2015 defender so I need a bit of advice. Basically, will it be compatible with my 2001 steering column?

First you need to count the splines on your existing steering column, it'll be 36 or 48.

The 2015 wheel is 48 spline however it won't have the pins that cancel the indicators ( you need a 2014 or earlier)
