Removable DLR cable connector to bumper
I am looking of a cable fitting that will allow me to connect to my bumpers DRL's that is robust, removable and waterproof (wading etc). Loads of ideas in the tinter web but I know there are some very experienced people on the forum so thought I would ask for advice.

I would prefer that the end connected to the bumper is mounted and so is secure but am open to advice from you lot Thumbs Up

Some initial thoughts are like these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WD19-Plug-Socket...2349a6e429 (not IP rated but is securely mounted)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamitsu-Aquasafe...33a6f564e1

Cheers

Steve

I usually use the Bulgin Buccaneer series of connectors for that sort of application (I've been using them for winch remote lead connectors for years), they're robust, waterproof, easy to assemble, and very modular. There are are male and female backshells, the connector parts of either gender can be panel or line mounted. They are available with three pins upwards to loads of pins.

See here for a three pole male line mounted plug, and here for a female panel mount connector.
