Bowden Cable to recirculator flap
I am looking for some help with this.
I had problems with the flap on the blower unit sticking when I bought the car some years back. The slider control was very sticky and I pushed too hard and the peg that holds the cable broke. I returned to the garage and they replaced the cable and unit.
The problem I have is that the cable jumps off the retaining peg when I try to slide it to the left.
I can move the flap manually at the blower end and it's not stiff or difficult.
If I fit it as per the manual (climate control unit) it stays in if I hold it down but bends the inner wire rather than push straight back.

Thoughts, tips would be most appreciated.

Thanks. Tommy
