Makes not much sense though

Apart from the 2 x side repeaters which were clear, the rest of the stuff taken is your bog standard stuff.

I could understand if the rear ones were fancy aftermarket, or clear with coloured bulbs, but they werent.

Just good honest LR originals.

Humm..... I came back from holiday 8 weeks ago to find some scumbags in Kent had stolen similar bits except the lights from my defender. Even broke them in the process. May they all rot in hell. Cheers Don.

One of the few times when I'd quite happily use violence; dissuade the scumbags from doing that again by putting them in the stocks and allowing the owner and their friends to pelt them with rotten fruit and veg.

OP, as has been said, a total pain and my commiserations but it could have been a lot worse. Not a lot of consolation but hopefully a little.

Kiki Sorry to hear your woes, utter scum!
We had alot of bother some time ago and my wifes car was broken into twice within a few weeks, they took nothing the first time just wrecked the inside looking for stuff, and the radio the second time (which was broken, Ha Ha Scum!!). I was so fed up I installed CCTV, we don't have a drive and have to park on the street so i invested in a quite expensive PTZ so I can move the camera to wherever we manage to park.
I must admit though it's usually trained on the Puma rather than her car Embarassed It did work though, as a few weeks later they broke into a neighbours car so I trawled the footage and found them at 4am one in the road one on the path trying every car door as they passed. Sent the video to plod and hey presto they were known to them, arrested and charged. Unfortunately they got only a fine and slap on the wrist Big Cry But we have not had any more trouble (touch wood), maybe word has got round about the cameras.
I hate that we have to resort to such measures, a sign of the times I guess......

Just seen this post and shocked. I know this problem is all over but thought it was mainly down south. It has made me
think more about security. If I had seen this a week ago you would have been welcome to use our works garage for storage (so to keep the electrical connecnections out of the rain)
