Mann Automotive at LaranceKirk, they are just by the station so you can drop the defender off and get the train home/to town Russell

Can't recommend Mann Automotive enough. I have been using them for years. Nothing is ever a problem.

Regular trains between Inverurie and Laurencekirk make it easy enough.

Toshers - I am only just outside Inverurie at Daviot. What's your defender?

I'm even closer to you in Oldmeldrum!

I'm driving a USW in Orkney Grey. I've a private plate on it, larger tyres, snorkel, A-bar and lamps, also just fitted a front steering guard.

Also running a D3 in grey with the factory styling pack. Just about to put it up for sale though.

Frequently in and out to Inverurie on the Rothie road, will keep an eye out for you Thumbs Up

You're right that is close! - am in Meldrum quite regularly so will look out. In fact I biked to the Red Garth in the rain last night for a pint!

There is a picture of my truck on my gallery.

Willowbrae Coachworks at Peffermill Industrial Estate in Edinburgh do Waxoyling. (I just spoke with them this morning). You have to get the vehicle steam cleaned yourself, ideally the day prior to taking it to them. They quoted me £170 + VAT.

These guys are also Pentland Land Rover's body shop, so I would imagine they know what they are doing. As my 90 might be going in to them for some corrosion on the rear crossmember and front bumper (pending Land Rover approval Rolling Eyes ) I'll get both done at the same time.

Hope this helps.

David.

Where do you get a steam clean near Edinburgh ? Up on ramp kinda clean, a real clean ?

Also what about Dynatro I though it was better than Waxoyl ?

Small world in deed, I used to live in Kintore up until 4 years ago, it took me 2 years to find Mann Automotive because the don't advertise they just go on word of mouth.

They 2 guys that own it are ex land rover mechanics from Town & County land rover who decided they could do a better job on their own. The good thing is they can always fit you in Thumbs Up Russell

Thanks for this David. Will check them out. I've also seen a place online called Ultimate Car Services based in Leamington Spa, but who have a branch/agent in Paisley near Glasgow.
