Leak

Getting a bit of a leak in the passenger footwell.
Appears to originate from the area of the metal retaining piece that hold the rubber mat in place nearer the door but more or less below the speaker.
Without investigating further what is the likely culprit?
Nothing on the drivers side at all...

I may have to remove the while dash sometime coming up to see if there is any Dynamat that is worth fitting so would be ideal to try and sort it out.

Ideas?

The air intake drain hole should n't be blocked as far as I'm aware but might be worth checking.
The rubber bung is removed from it already.

Screen frame to bulkhead seal, screen bracket bolt holes or possibly the join between the frame and bulkhead under the door seal itself? Pull the lower speaker etc for a looksee with a torch. Steve.

Will do, seems like maybe the most likely the screen to bulkhead seal.
The screen brackets and bolt holes are too far to the left as is the door seals and there are no signs of moisture there.
(At least visible anyway)
So on this one I'm tending to think it's the seal between the frame and screen.
Hopefully I can see up there somehow as you suggested as long as there isn't something in the way.

I've had a little bit there for a while but not enough to worry about but today it's a fair bit.
I assume becuase the dry weather and warmth we've had he probably contracted the seal a touch and then this rain.

2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Barolo Black

Mine was leaking past the windscreen rubber the other day. Have a look over the top of the dash at the windscreen seal. You might see water here. Near where the heated screen connectors are if you have a heated screen?

Daz - I'll have a look see, I don't have a heated screen but none the less I know exactly where you mean.
