Hong Kong 2003 Defender 110 Td5 USW Corris Grey
Throttle potentiometer bolts removal?
Any tricks on this removal? The 2 bolts on the throttle potentiometer keep spinning!
now I can't get if off the foot wall, and can't get it tighten it back Mr. Green

They're not captive nuts, so will turn as you've found.

Even if you're on your own, you can carefully put a 13mm (from memory) ring spanner on the nuts from the engine bay side.

Then go back into the car and using a socket, slowly, not pushing or pulling, undo or do up the nut.

The spanner will move and jam against a bit of bulkhead, hold the nut and the job's done.

You might have to do this a few times to Make it work.

Or get someone else to hold the spanner as the gentleman says above. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop
Now a 2013 110 USW too.

Should I look for the Nuts from under the vehicle? or from under the bonnet?
