Double Cab HCPU ?
just spotted this pic and love it !

This is a 110...but with a hicap load area ?! Is this a standard option ? This pic was taken in MAlaysia, aparently is a new vehicle...

How much work would be involved in transforming a regular DC into this ? Regards
Joao

I've thought before about grafting a HC pickup bed onto a 110.... looks like someone's gone and done it. Guess if you're a dab hand with the fabrication it wouldn't been too hard a job, although the wheelarch join has got to be pretty awkward....

I think it's a locally made conversion. They have had high level brake lights on the cab roof in parts of Asia for a while I believe.

Having run several 110 double cabs and a 130 double cab the 130 tailgate setup etc was much better. I like this, a lot...

I seem to recall that when the DC was first listed as a configuration there was an option for a HiCap DC 110, as well as a HiCap DC 130, I am sure I remember lusting after one at the time.

I will try to have a look through the bumph from that time to see.

Well it's only taken them some 20+ years Laughing Like a few I've thought that a HCPU tub onto a 110DC would look good. Wonder if you can get a pallet or a 1t bag of sand in the back?

This is a local conversion, I have seen a few in the flesh, the 130 HCPU for some very strange reason was never sold officialy in Malaysia ( There is however a few130 HCPU there, the Government had some as special order, and a number of the Wild Life Organisations run them ) 2010 Defender 130 HCPU
