guessing they changed it for the 13pin electrics as they have lighting and aux charging in the same socket

I thought the towing electrics kit included a full loom that runs from trailer socket right through to the connections in the battery box?

Yes , but thought maybe purple wire was moved down to the towing socket connector under the arch as a supply for 13pin electrics

dont know only guessing
