how do you? wire std heated seats up
I have fitted some xs heated seats to a 200tdi, does anyone know, and would care to explain how I can wire them up so they work?

I am guessing a switched relay is all it takes, but what amperage do they draw?

Does it matter which way around the writes are connected to the plug on the seats, plus any ideas on the plug I would need to fit the plus already on the seats? Cheers

Can't help you with the wiring I'm afraid but will keep an eye out for your progress as I must hold my hand up to thinking of doing the same Whistle

The resistance is about 3.4 ohms so the current draw should be about 3.5 amps per seat.
