Fitting Dog Guard & Cubby Box
We've ordered a Genuine Dog Guard from Duckworths, how easy are they to fit to a 90?

Also can anyone tell me how you fit a Cubby Box in place of the tray? 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

The dog guard will come with full instructions but it's not a quick job.

If you have them the rear side trims will need to come out.

The factory tray uses the same front fixings as a factory cubby but a different pair of rear holes.

When you remove the tray you'll see another pair of holes pre drilled and covered with black tape.

Unfortunately the factory don't fit rivnuts in those holes so you'll need to fit them or alternatively use nuts and bolts and have someone help you by laying underneath the vehicle to put the nuts on

Yes we have TGE side panels fitted in the back.

So they need to come out, the guard fitted and then they go back in? 2015 Audi Q3 Quattro S Line Plus 184 TDI Stronic

As Go Beyond says it's not a quick job, a bit tricky, just don't tighten up all the fittings as you go along, fit it all then tighten up you need a bit of movement in the frame to juggle with, enjoy Smile

The rivnuts are part number AWR 6715 or buy them off Ebay (M6 rivnut) Thumbs Up Cogito ergo sum

I found fitting the genuine LR dog guard a bit of a pain it wasn't a brilliant fit....As previously stated fit all brackets loose and tighten at the end.
There is a stud on the side brackets that I ground off which made everything slot into place a lot easier.....
Quite happy with the end result though and it is dead easy to remove...
