Twisted alloy wheels x5 on ebay

I spotted those too.
I'll be bidding unless the price gets too high, even though its a bit of a trek. I don't want to bid against other forum members though so can you lot KEEP OFF!!

I spotted them as well but am only interested in the 18" variety. If you look at picture 11 there looks to be a small flat spot in the rim at about 10 o clock? It could just be me but it does look a bit out of shape to me

Looks like you're right, on the 5th spoke at 10 o'clock it looks definitely looks like a damaged/flattened rim, I'll enquire.

2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey

There is also a wheel that has a chalked 'B' at the one o' clock position on the tyre, that rim has a nick in it at the five o' clock position. Despite claiming the wheels have been powdercoated and not fitted I think they have been touched up too but not sure as it may be bead lube splatter? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Seller has responded saying he's sure there's no damage but he's going to have a look and get back to me later.....

Hi Paul

I had a look at that wheel this morning and your right it does appear to have a slight flat on the edge. I've just taken the wheels to be balanced and that one only needed a few weights so it must be running true. I don't know if it is from when the wheels were made as I purchased them second hand.
