Rear Shockers 2001 TD5
Hi Folks,

I have the original LR heavy duty suspension / twin shocks at front and rear of the coil spring on the rear of my 110.

The drivers side shocker has packed up, it is the rear of the two. My question is do I need to replace both (i.e. the rear two off side and near side) or all four.

If so what shockers would you recommend, I don't do any towing, no seats in the rear. However is has an internal 8 point Performance and Protection roll cage, which I would imagine is a heavy beast.

I have a 2003 110 and put Terafirma shocks on the rear and its sweet as a nut. Even when loaded up with luggage and family....including the 10st dog.

Had them in for approx 4 months, can recommend them so far! Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful!

All four IMHO....

Best code of practice is that whatever you do to one side of the suspension/rolling gear you must do to the other. I learnt the hard way as the stresses caused the other side to go shortly afterwards.

Front and Rear 6 shock absorbers Shocked did think of the rear 4 in one go, and as off to the Pyrenees in June better safe than sorry!
Will have a look at the terafirma shockers

What Mal said above, pairs front or rear or all four.
Ideally all four unless they are only a few K in miles between them but in all honestly pairs should be fine.

Purchased and awaiting fitting 4 x All Terrain's for the rear and 2 x Big Bore for the front. Hope it makes a little bit of a difference Whistle
