Front Spring Advice
Afternoon all,

I currently have some fairly new genuine front springs on my 110 (110 USW spec ones). However with the matching ones on the back, it already looks very nose down (almost 45mm using tape measure). I know this is fairly standard with them, however I rarely carry large loads in the back but dont want to lower the back either. The 255/85R16 tyres are already tight enough for space.

I would like to lift the front a little to make it look a bit more level. Was thinking of a pair of Gwynn Lewis 1"/1,5" packers for the front. However I am about to fit a fairly large front bumper and winch (First Four bumper with Husky winch) and I am concious that the front will be even more nose down.

Therefore I am looking for a reccomendation for some new front springs to even things up a little. Quite happy with the ride quality as it is so dont want some silly mega HD springs that barely ever move.

Anyone advise, i have been looking at the Flatdog ones.

Cheers

Why not pop some Disco2 front spring isolators in the top and a defender 90 rear isolator at the bottom.

Will take the height up and reduce road noise ?

Cheers,

I should have said, I currently have the ANR2938 spring isolators on the front springs. Not come across the Disco2 ones used before though, how to they fit?

Also I have checked and both my front springs are Yellow/Yellow striped

I have just had the same issue, anyhow as I was having a big service I got the stealer too bang in a pair of standard 130 front springs. I have a full ARB heavy duty bull bar. I measured the bump stop clearence at 60mm, and it had a tendency too flop into corners. Yes it looked like a dragster, not now! However you don't get nowt for nowt, the ride quality as expected is a little more firm but 110 is more level and just looks more right too me. I have today just driven 1600 km in one hit, lightly loaded, not such an issue. I will give it a week or two, then I will check out clearence gained! Very Happy

Im fitting standard 90 rear springs to mine, they're the factory '110 front HD' springs so will level it up a bit and take the weight of the gubbins bolted to the front without sagging too much. Pete
