Attempted Theft of D90 Halifax
Last friday night a friends defender was attacked, It was parked in a drive in a secluded spot near Halifax town centre.
Its metallic grey with a black roof and sawtooths but under the bonnet is a rather special Td5. Its a very noticable Defender.

The thieves attempted to start the vehicle but due to the several "layers" of security they failed.
So the next thing they did was disconnect both door check straps, cut the wiring and proceed to undo the door hinge bolts.

We are guessing they were disturbed and fled the scene.

Now we just have to repair all the damage including the front wings where they tried to crowbar the bottom door hinge bolts.
