You appear to have had it a bit easier Terry. Mine is a pick up converted to a HT so had the lip where the top of the pick up back was which makes those nots sit at an angle of 30 degrees to the side. Looks like you had a simple bolt through and didn't need the brackets.

Glad your pleased with them.

Very keen on these how are you finding them?

Also as a side, Whilst I know defenders offer very little side impact protection but given that you have fitted them do you think they would offer better resistance to a tbone type accident?

Rock/tree sliders are more likely to be helpful in that drastic situation.

Hello mate had them on about a month or so I think they look ok on my truck althought I realise they are not for everyone.
It's another layer of security for me and works well. The only thing I've found is not to leave the passenger lock in when driving as the lock can get coverd in crud.some rubber covers would stop that but it's not a big issue at all.
