can't comment on the B&S being made in Chine now but bearing in mind my dad still uses his hayter (green godess) from c35 years back in preference to a more recent hayter harrier he picked up at the right price. also I've got a hayter harrier and my mate and we're all v happy

Do they still make Hayters? Awesome machines - used them day in - day out doing council house gardens (more like wilderness) for Essex Council. Go through anything Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Try and get mower with the good old fashioned revolving cylinder blade. Not the modern single blade ones. The more revolving cylinder blades you have, try and get one with at least two cylinder blades which will give a finer cut and the grass will not need cutting as often.
