1988 Defender 90 200 Tdi CSW Bronze Green

Ignition Relay

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me where the ignition relay is located in a 1988 90 2.5td please

Should be down behind the gearstick in with the fuses... there's usually 4 or 5 relays along the bottom.

unscrew the fusebox lid with the two large thumbscrews.

Isn't that mentioned on the inside off the lid? Roel

The lid ( my lid ) anyway doesn't tell you anything as the sticker thingy is missing, we have removed the metal cover and found the relays but not sure which relay is for the ignition as they all click when the ignition is turned on.

any ideas as this switching off problem is driving us nuts

can you feel them click when switching things on and off , might be lucky and find it that way
