Removed the squished apple remains off the 110 and pushed out the dents caused by the scum that used the vehicle for target practice last night. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Took an old sofa up to the dump and acted as taxi service.

Quite impressed I managed to fit the sofa in through the back door and close it afterwards. Thumbs Up 1970 Series 2A 88"

Removed my mantec swing away spare wheel carrier, greased all the bolts and hinges and reassembled. No more squealing when I open the back door now! Bow down 2007 (57) Defender 90 (Sold)
Looking for another to replace it.

The road less travelled.... is a muddy one!

Had a set of Wipac crystals with Nightbreakers, Wipac 8" spots on a soft A Bar, Paddock steel steering guard, full dog barrier all fitted. The lights make an enormous difference.

This site is becoming an expensive addiction.

Did a few trips back and forth dropping people at various places, then spent an afternoon with a bottle of Captain Tollys trying to find the source of the leak which is making my right knee very wet after rainfall.

ordered a new set of wheels & tyres.

16" gloss black sawtooth alloys with 235/85/16 General Grabber AT2s, should be a good all round combination hopefully.

but on the upside

Ordered ashcroft front shafts flanges and cv joints with abs and whilst i was at it two rebuilt diffs with a ashcroft atb for the front and a ashcroft locker for the rear 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon

Got recovered after the gearbox went with a clang. No forward drive except about 2ft then it would lock up.

While waiting for recovery, I broke out the bacon and eggs and did butties for us all (on way to a WRC recce stage) 1999 Defender TD5 110

Well today i had to 1. find out why my reverse light was not working and then 2. to build a new storage box in the back:

Then to plug the switch back in (LR Dealers must have forgot to do this when the clutch was replaced):

took it to JSF and had the EGR valve replaced and a software upgrade.

Runs smoother and it amazing how much more power it's got Mr. Green

Obviously I'd not noticed the slow reduction in power, just the increased fuel consumption Russell
