Basic brake pad fitting questions
I've just pulled out of the garage some unused but 4 year old Ferodo 3440 brake pads. I haven't taken the old pads out of my 110 yet (tomorrow) and would like to know in advance:
1) does the chamfer on the pad sit to the back of the disc,
2) two different part numbers on the pads. Do like numbers pair up on the disc, or doesn't it matter.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

The chamfer faces downwards. The two different numbers probably relate to the position of the chamfer on the pad (i.e. inner and outer pad).
