ARB compressor, 1 per axle or 1 for 2 axles?
Will an ARB compressor operate 2 locking diffs independently or do you need a compressor per axle? 1990 Defender 300TDi

one compressor for two axels. When you buy the compressor it comes with two switches and relays. My Defender and travels

They do two types. A bigger one that will do 2 axles and a smaller one that is only really designed for one.

The smaller one is designed for working both axles - easily fitted under seat being small - works perfectly only a small amount of air is needed to operate the lockers
The larger one is designed for also inflating tyres and it comes with a quick release air socket

They do THREE Types.

If its just for your lockers(Front AND Back) you only need the small one.

As Boode says only a small amount of air needed and once at pressure you don't need more air, unless you have a leek. Middle size you can inflate your tyres as well and the larger coupled with a tank will be good for much more.
