Painting novice - help
Hi .. I've bought some plastic dirt d-fenders (smooth) that I want to paint the body colour. I'm a painting novice .. although have bought the base coat and clear lacquer.

What's the process? Do I need to apply primer first and then sand between coats? How many?

Thanks 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

you need a plastic primer like the stuff for plastic bumpers , flat the parts first , prime couple of coats and leave 24hrs gentle flat (don't flat through the primer ) with fine paper then base and laquer
