Td5 electronic speedo problem
I had the mechanical speedometer from the 1984 installed for MOT purposes and as I wanted to install Cruise control I connected the electronic speedsensor to the transfer box and the speedometer in the dash.
The electronic speedometer was connected to the wireloom and living behind the dash as that is needed to get the fuel gauge working.
I installed the electronic system, did a short testdrive and some shopping and it was working fine.
I installed Cruise Control as per drawing of Pete from Bas remap. Did a test drive and it worked fine.
The next day I lost my indication of speed completely. The speedo doesn't move at all.

So what can be wrong?
To think simple it can be 3 things:
1: The sensor in the tranfer box.
2; the wires between the sensor, speed indicator and the ECU.
3 the speedindicator itselves.

How can I check the parts without connecting it to a computer system? Roel
