There is actually one exception you can take advantage of, but not involving a Sankey.

If the first trailer is a device for recovering a broken down vehicle by lifting one end of it, and the second is a broken down vehicle, the you can tow two "trailers" but only for the purpose of recovering said broken down vehicle to the nearest place of safety.

You can tow a drawbar trailer (subject to the usual restrictions on weights and licences etc) if you really fancy a reversing challenge.

Totally agree with the first paragraph Thumbs Up the law has virtually stopped all spec lifts and tow dollys due to braking and licence requirements.
To the lower paragraph :-

Sambler, tut, tut could you not have found a better photo?

That road train is a little minnow compared to the world record of some 112 trailers. Yes I know it was an Aussie one

Just need to find a decent photo.

Looking back over this thread I noticed what you'd written early on, which I missed first time round:

You do know that this is in itself illegal? You can only burn the arisings where they grew, and there are limits on the volumeof arisings you can burn in a day.

Almost everything is illegal nowadays Big Cry
