Wipac Quadoptic Headlamps
Wonder if someone could give me some advice.

I just picked up my nearly new 90HT and so glad to be back in the club !

The previous owner seems to have fitted a set of Wipac Quadoptic Headlights with an aftermarket HID Kit which I am about to remove. The lights are super bright and risk dazzling a few owls in the trees so I am trying to get back to as near original as possible while making some improvement to the general lighting.

Question is was this Wipac Quadoptic lamp an original fit or an aftermarket one and what benefits would this have when fitting for example an Osram Nightbreaker bulb over the standard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. LR Defender 110 XS Utility Wagon

Quad optics are standard, HID's not so, the latter is illegal iirc.
I have Wipac Crystals with Philips Extreme bulbs as many others do on here. (That's if they aren't running LED)

I made the upgrade here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic24287.html?highlight=wipac

If you don't want very expensive LED lights or standard "Candle in Jam jars" I would highly recommend this conversion.

Think it cost me less than £50 Thumbs Up
