Lights on when unlocking
Has anyone fitted new external or altered the existing external lights to come on when unlocking the vehicle?

It would be a handy thing to have in car parks at night when approaching/leaving the car.

The simple way would be to fit some 'hidden' low power LED's into the interior light circuit, perhaps use a relay?

What do you think?

My interior lights come on anyway when you unlock Cheers, David
Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8.

I know mine's a station wagon, more windows, but with leds fitted in the interiors it illuminates the outside quite well when the alarm is deactivated at night. Perhaps a couple of strategically placed leds on the outside linked to the interior lights may do the job.

As above, I had considered it but gas to be waterproof and the biggest off put is that what ever is outside will be plastered in mud so won't work half the time.
You wouldn't want to keep cleaning lights off all the time.
