^^ Think much earlier. My SVX was produced 16 July 2008, and was already a 2009 model year. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Probably still a model year 2016 spec to be produced as of July 2015,..... with the "last of" edition.
 You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
