The konis are great i have them on mine atm, in std height and i have +2 konis too.
As for upgrading the springs i wouldnt unless you want to lift the car. I have run mine for 4 uears with just sts springs and koni std height dampers and found the ride to be excellant. The part numbers look to be spot on with what i have. Try flatdog or paddock spares or extreme4x4 as these were the cheapest last time i looked 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon |

I just checked with Koni dealer here in Dubai, and I came to know that these shocks is twin tube and not monotube as I thought

They are a low pressure gas twin tube, and that's a problem because ????

I bought mine from defenderbits:
Defender Koni Shock Absorber Front TD5 8240-1181SPX Defender TD5 Koni Shock Absorber Rear 8240-1182SPX They fitted my 110 Puma perfectly. Biggest benefit is to the rear. They made a huge improvement, the fronts less-so. If you do then one end at a time, do the rears first, you'll get a 90% improvement for 50% of the outlay...
