Door wax
As part of repairing the door frame and fitting nice new metal, I was thinking of giving the insides of the door frame and also a coating over the frame itself with this stuff.

I did mine with Dinitrol, basically the exact same thing.
Easy to apply too when you get the technique right, just wipe off excess runs.
