New 'Independant' Dorset.
Whilst visiting an industrial unit in Cortry Close, Branksome, Dorset for work this morning I noticed a new independant unit opposite. Popped over to 'sound' them out and spoke to an amiable individual called Tony. Seems a nice setup and they've recently just started up. Maybe one for the 'Dorset Hobbits' to bear in mind if they need the services of an independant perhaps? For those in the know they're on the industrial site adjacent to Mc Donalds on Alder Hills. I never knew they were there until I 'stumbled across' them today, so thought I'd share......

Linky fingy: Thumbs Up

I think they've been there a couple of months now. I haven't been in yet but might do next time I'm round that way. I usually use Andy at A L Services in Poole as he's a pretty good bloke and reasonably priced too. www.alservices.co.uk/

Incidentally, if like me, any Dorset LR owners have motorbikes too, Moore Speed Racing are in the same road and well worth a visit for all things m/c related. www.moorespeedracing.co.uk/ Smile 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful

Also in the same small industrial is Firstglass Automotive Glazing (Andy Small) who did a first rate job fitting my heated windscreen to my Defender, and will shortly hopefully do the same for my Disco2.

Andy apparently does a great deal of Landrover work for local main dealers, independents, and also the MOD certainly gets my thumbs-up. Much better value than that that bloke who fills your crack with the "special resin".

I have no connection except as a satisfied customer.

Just revisited this thread to post a link and noticed Blackwolf's post. Another recommendation for Firstglass.....They fitted my Landyglass and did a fantastic job.

I've just had some work done at Bournemouth Land Rover and I'm pretty chuffed.
Tony is a nice guy and will happily take the time out to chat with you about your car. They have just taken on another technician from Westover Land Rover so must be doing something right.
Lorna is always on hand with the free coffee as well Very Happy
