1988 Defender 90 200 Tdi CSW Bronze Green

Alternator ?

Hi guys

Is it possible to fit / make a disco 200tdi alternator fit a defender 200tdi as I want an 100 amp alternator and the only ones I can see are for disco's

On a 200tdi,i'm sure the only difference is the main battery cable.

large spade connector vs. bolt on ring.

if the mounting lugs are in the "wrong" place you just unbolt the long thin bolts that hold both halves of the unit together then rotate it around.

But I think the disco unit is just bolt on. (although its been years since i changed one)
