I'm sorry but this is just the funniest thing I've seen!

Amazing 'puddle splash' action and extreme 'dirt road' driving.

The last 2 seconds tell all though

Rolling with laughter That's really funny. They would have had more clearance and done better in a VW Beetle.
Like the defender in the background probably as the safety vehicle to pull most of those X5's through the obstacles. Nice find

I guess to 'proper' off-roaders it's not too challenging. But to your average X5 driver, the road tuned suspension would give a rough ride and exagerate things, so from the inside they'd think it's really challenging & be impressed. Plus the spotter gives the illusion of danger!

I much prefer the new X5 to the original X5 & on road it's ok, but a car would be better. Whilst Jeremy Clarkson demo'd how bad the X6 was in snow/wet grass, which I'd expect the X5 and 5-series GT would be just as bad.

Have to say I've done worse in Freelanders!

Great video, can't understand why they went through that puddle, don't the realise that it will get the rear view camera dirty!! If you can't climb on it, don't drive it!

Don't worry

is the new advertisement strategy of Land Rover Marketing........

At the end the CLEAR message is: OK you drove X5 in sand highway but if you want to do the REAL off road please buy Defender.......

and the Defender is the last photogram and thats mean that the defender is "memorized" strongly!!!! Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
