Rear Tub Storage solution
Hi Everyone,
I saw something similar on a 90 Pickup and decided to make my own version.
The frame is made from welded 2mm aluminium and is very sturdy.
The two plastic storage boxes slide out of the frame for access. There is now a useful compartment at the back inbetween the rear bulkhead and storage boxes for extra bits of kit.
The standard jack slides down a space on the right hand side between the seat box and the aluminium frame.

The cover is made from 18mm hardwood plyboard. I made a hinged access panel for the rear compartment storage.

I have had to move the spare wheel, which is normally secured to the rear bulkhead. As I don't want to put this on the rear tailgate, I am going to get a bracket made to attach wheel to left hand body capping of rear tub.

Nice, like your minimalist solution. Not much space wasted. Martin
