martin, my old 300 tdi came standard with rain senors!!

here is how it works.
1. it rains outside
2. sensor in top right of door is activated
3. water pours onto my leg
4. i now know its raining and switch on wipers

On my TD5 less water is coming through so it takes a while before the sensor in my leg is activated.

I fitted some bigguns' a while ago. They put out 100 W each. They look good IMHO and as I start commuting at 04:15 AM frequently, all that extra light is an added bonus Mr. Green
