Roof light bar
I have recently bought a roof light bar along with 4 lightforce 140mms. Was wondering if there is a way to connect these lights without having to drill a hole in the roof. I have a snorkel fitted and have seen some posts saying the wire could be run along that but not sure how it will look and if anyone has done this? Any advice, much appreciated. Question

run wire down inside of snorkel and straight under bonnett into cab is the easiest way use some nice p clips for the wire not gash cable ties. 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

i ran mine through the gutter where the clamp/bracket attaches and through the door seal into the car, then down A pillar, into dash where it meets bulkhead and from there you can go wherever you like (e.g. into engine bay through grommet) or you can go down B pillar and into seat box for the battery etc. Cheers, David

I hate cables so drilled holes under lights and fed through centre of bar to another hole I drilled in the end then out through some conduit down inside RAI to under bonnet

Guys, one more question if I may. How/from where do you run the wires from the engine compartment in to the dash? I have a 2009 Puma and the guys doing the wiring tell me the ABS unit hampers the routing of the wires from the engine to the dash. Any advice, very much appreciated.

if you open the bonnet, you'll see 2 large rubber grommets in the bulkhead. Use a straightened out coat hanger to feed through from engine side to where you can reach the other end (probably take the centre dash piece out and you'll be able to see it). then tape the wire to the coat hanger from whichever end you want to pull it through from and pull the coat hanger back. easy job really. Cheers, David

these are the grommets.

oval shaped with one large one in centre and 4(?) smaller ones outside. these can be cut out with a knife to allow cable to run through
