I know you say you don't want to pay the premium for the FL2 but now is the time to buy one. Some great deals around and awesome on and off road. Had one the other day while my Defender was out on loan and they really are great

I suppose as with everything all depends what you want to spend and what spec you expect for the money. If I couldn't have land rover I'd probably have an Audi Allroad but then they're costly too and also not as spacious as the FL2

We have a Yeti 4x4 as well. Great car BUT not great on fuel on the motorways, <80mph will return around 40mpg which to my mind is a bit pants.

Very good value for money though. All the Skoda 4x4's are very poplar in The Highlands.

Can't see my wife wanting a pickup.

She tells me I have completely sold her on LR's especially Defenders. Quote from my wife "if it's not a LR then I would not know what to get" Perhaps I should have been a salesman or was in a previous life.

Perhaps I should get a FFRR Shocked BM52
