Not sure about that new bonnet decal, you like it?
Click image to enlarge This is mine. Defender twice on the front looks a little odd. Cracking looking 110 though Last edited by borderterrier on 10th Feb 2014 11:38pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Looks great to me (decal and everything else..)
Good choice of winch, get some good strops & shackles too (if not already). Cheers Simon |

It's the only thing I'm not sure about 'Defender Defender' does look weird, so as you suggest also, I'm considering a gloss black 'Land Rover' to replace the bonnet script. Currently....... all gone...... pending delivery of a mid life crisis....... Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them! |

Looks a bit like Land Rover have "removed" their name from the bonnet - trying to distance themselves before they dump it perhaps, or am I just paranoid Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Don't worry, 2014 sees the introduction of the new Land Rover brand architecture. (Can you tell I've been brainwashed at several LR meetings!) Basically, there is going to be three model lines for Land Rover - Range Rover (comprising Full Size, Sport & Evoque) Discovery (current D4 and new FL will be badged disco too!) Defender (current plus new models) These represent the three core model lines which are defined as Luxury, Leisure and Dual Purpose respectively. This will be rolling out across all new model launches and updates from 2014 onwards. Likewise, they have reintroduced the land Rover oval on Range Rover models which was dropped for a while. Hope this helps? I'm not an insider from LR, but very close! Currently....... all gone...... pending delivery of a mid life crisis....... Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them! |
