The connectors in the photograph are superseal connectors and not econoseals connectors.

Same company makes them but the superseal connectors are a more expensive item and in my mind give a much better seal against water ingress.

Also, if you're looking at R123 on page 62 of the Electrical Wiring Diagrams issue 1c manual, there's only one relay and it looks as though full current from the lights is going through it and the lighting switch?

For a minute there I thought I had wasted my time and money buying the dutch relay loom, however having just studied the drawings I concurr with ZeDefender that full current still appears to go throught the column switch despite there being a relay in the circuit. It appears the relay is just there to control the lighting systems logic DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

In any event, I measured the difference with the new loom - a 0.7 volt increase is good in anyone's money Thumbs Up
*Edit* and if any existing relay was doing its job, the light switch wouldn't burst into flames Whistle Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Is the relay in the standard system to provide, stop power due to ignition position? So when ignition is off it cuts the headlights to sidelights only?
